Teacher Librarian Program of Study
The University of Montana Teacher Librarian program is offered fully online. All courses are taught online through either the UM-Missoula campus or the UM-Western campus.
For currently licensed teachers, completion of this program will lead to a K-12 library media endorsement. For those seeking initial teaching licensure, please note that this teaching minor requires completion of a teaching major in a second content area in order to be eligible for licensure.
This program can be completed at the undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, or graduate level. Those interested in pursuing a master’s degree in addition to the library media endorsement may do so with the addition of some graduate coursework in Curriculum & Instruction. Please see the Department of Teaching & Learning for additional information.
