Master of Education (M.Ed.)

Within the programmatic themes of integration of ideas, cooperative endeavors, and respect for learning and individual worth, it is our goal to prepare education professionals who will work in K-12 classrooms and teacher education programs and as district curriculum leaders.

Master of Education (M.Ed.) Options

Licensure Programs
Curriculum Studies with initial teacher licensure for K-8 elementary education

This program option is designed for students seeking both a Master's degree and elementary education licensure.
Curriculum Studies with initial teacher licensure for 5-12 or K-12 secondary education

This program option is designed for students seeking both a Master's degree and secondary education licensure.
Non-Licensure Option
General Curricular Studies Blended

This blended program option is designed for those who are seeking an advanced degree without licensure. Students can take courses face-to face, solely online, or a combination of both. This option is 36 credits including 15 elective credits.
Endorsements
Special Education

This program option is designed for currently licensed teachers seeking a Master's degree and a K-12 special education endorsement.
Library Media

This program option is designed for currently licensed teachers seeking a Master's degree and a K-12 library endorsement.
Literacy Education

This program option is designed for currently licensed teachers seeking a Master's degree and a K-12 reading endorsement.
