Health Behavior Coaching – on campus program

The University of Montana – Department of Health and Human Performance- Community Health & Prevention Sciences and Curry Health Center are pleased to announce the Health Behavior Coach Certificate Program for students who are sophomore level or higher standing. This certificate program is offered through Curry Health Center at the UM Missoula campus. Health Behavior Coaches promote lifestyle adaptations that have been shown to enhance quality of life and reduce health care costs through prevention or delayed progression of chronic disease. Facilitating healthy, sustainable behavior change that reflects clients’ values and goals is the main objective of a Health Behavior Coach. Click here for more information and the application form.

LIFE C – online program

The University of Montana – Department of Health and Human Performance is pleased to support the Lifestyle Intervention Health Certificate (LIFE C). This mostly on-line certificate program is ideal for HHP student alumni who have completed our degree programs in Community Health and Prevention Sciences, Exercise Science and Athletic Training. The LIFE C program is fully accredited by the Northwest Commission, the accrediting body of the University of Montana. The LIFE C prepares providers and educators in health-related fields to be ready to develop or join an integrated Lifestyle Intervention/Medicine team who promote lifestyle behaviors that enhance quality of life and reduce health care costs through prevention or delayed progression of chronic disease. Click here  for more information and the application form.
