2020 Paper of the Year Award

Congratulations to College of Education Assistant Professor, Jeb Puryear, for being one of the winning authors of the 2020 Paper of the Year award from the Journal for the Education of the Gifted.

The winning journal entitled “Promising Practices for Improving Identification of English Learners for Gifted and Talented Programs,” focuses on the underrepresentation of English learners (Els) within gifted and talented programs in schools.

The Journal for the Education of the Gifted (JEG), the official publication of The Association for the Gifted, is dedicated to providing a forum for ideas, information and research on the educational and psychological needs of gifted children.
