The University of Montana’s Athletic Training Program was among the nation's first programs; our leadership in the field continues today. As a student in the Master’s degree program at UM, you will:

  • Enjoy a flexible curriculum that allows students the opportunity to tailor course delivery and selected clinical rotations to meet student needs.
  • Develop the critical thinking, decision-making and communication skills necessary for success in athletic training, allied health care, and other professions.
  • Benefit from a rigorous program that will prepare you to sit for the BOC examination.
  • Gain extensive, hands-on experience at various clinical education sites including colleges, high schools, sports and physical therapy clinics.
  • Enjoy a low student-to-faculty ratio while learning from a range of allied and medical health care professionals.
